Novice Winter Showjumping Qualifiers, Sands Farm 22nd February 2020

After rescheduling the competition from the 9th Feb due to the great weather... A bit of juggling of riders and ponies.. We still managed to send 3 teams 2 x 70 and 1 x 80 representing the club.

And what fantastic as always comaraderie, team spirit and support from all of you.

This resulted in some fantastic rounds from 70 purple team... Danielle Sarah Allison and Meg taking 1st place
to qualify for the national championships at Arena UK on the 28th March.

A man down... The yellow 70 Emma Joanna and Meg (on another trusty steed) took 4th place.
With our 80 team Aimee, Vicci, Louise and Wendy also taking 4th place.

Meg also had individual 5th and Louise individual 3rd.

Big big thanks to our helpers Zoe Sasha and Lorraine... Also Lorraine for hospitality and Caroline for the bit of ad lib trouble shooting 🙄

And en mass support crew.......

Very very proud of you all

National Intermediate Dressage Qualifier, Sands Farm, 8th February 2020

Kay Mahoney and Rohyrne were first to compete for us as an individual in Preliminary 14. They produced a lovely test but Rohyrne was a little tense and they managed a very respectable score of nearly 62%.

Claire Lang and Carrick Diamond Harp were our first team members competing for the Gin Team. They were brilliant as usual and produced a fantastic score of over 68% and came 4th for the team.

Amy Laurenco and TGF Sinatra were our first combination to compete for Team Tonic. They produced a consistent test and received a score of nearly 63% to come 9th.

Zoe Blaauw and Harry’s Boy came next. Zoe asked me to read for her so that I couldn’t watch her! Peanut behaved impeccably and produced a score of over 62% and cane 11th.

Sarah Goody and Diamond Clover Echo were our last combination to go in Novice 30. They haven’t competed in dressage for a while (they prefer jumping)! They produced a fantastic test earning over 68% to come 2nd
and qualify for the National Championships.

Nichol Williams and Kilnhanger’s One in a Million came next. Max had never been to Sands Farm before and with Nichol’s help produced a fabulous +66% test to win
and qualify for the National Championships.

Lorraine Holloway and Chinnor Hamlet were next competing as an individual. They produced a faultless test to gain over 64% to come 6th. They then went on to compete in Elementary 44 for Team Tonic and delivered a +62% test to come 8th.

Danielle Bruton and Shere Spirit competed for Team Tonic in Elementary 44. Paddy was a star and produced a test for just under 64% and came 5th for the team.

Sue Brougham and Narramore Musicman competed in the pick your own Medium and Advanced Medium. They were amazing and came 1st and 2nd so
qualified for the National Championship.

We had a great day with Team Gin coming 2nd and Team Tonic coming 9th with
three combinations qualifying for the Championships. Thank you everyone for competing for us and being such fun to be around. Roll on the next one x
