Newlands Corner Riding Club is running the RoR Riding Club Challenge again this year and hope that all our racehorse riders will enjoy taking part. We know there are quite a number of you out there and this is a fun competition aimed at ex-racehorses and riders at all levels and disciplines. It works as an add-on to NCRC showjumping and dressage competitions.

All you need to do is register your house with the RoR website and you will be ready to join in, this cost £10. All our open dressage and showjumping classes are eligible for the RoR Riding Club Challenge. The best horse on the day wins a rosette and is eligible for the end of season Trophy. The horse's RoR number must be noted on the entry form. If S.E. League sheets are brought to the show, they can be signed and their points will count towards that. For NCRC members, the Wednesday evening dressage counts towards the S.E. league too, if they get their sheets signed.

The RoR South East organiser Pippa Boyle works very hard running training days, Team Quest dressage days and other "jollies" as well as being married to a racehorse trainer. The emphasis is on having fun and meeting other people who have started on the "interesting" journey that is retraining a racehorse.

Rules are on the RoR
