Many of you will remember the fantastic evening we enjoyed three years ago to celebrate the club`s 50th Anniversary, lots of people wanted a party every year but we felt that would not be appropriate.
How could we keep up the standard?
This year however we decided was ideal for a really great party, the weather`s been rubbish and wiped out most of the club shows, but Nationally we`ve had the most amazing summer, celebrating the Jubilee and the Olympics and Paralympics .So let`s go for a JUBILYMPICS PARTY !
The large function room at the Manor House Hotel at Newlands Corner (the Club`s birthplace) has been booked for Friday November 2nd. We have arranged a Finger Buffet , Disco, Casino, Raffle and other entertainments for £30 a ticket.
There will be a licensed bar.
The theme will obviously be Red, White and Blue. If you would like to dress up , either in your best Royal finery, or be ready to win that elusive Gold, there will be a prize for the best costume in either category, If you don`t feel so bold, feel free to wear whatever you feel happiest in, party best or jeans.
